Specifically, worked with Noble Woodwork to remodel a 1950's brick house. Attention to materials, space, light and efficiency resulted in a modern space with character.

We chose Kebony as our primary decking material (it's a sustainable, low-maintenance, all-natural lumber product) and were recommended to Sam Noble as a great craftsman who was familiar with it. What a stroke of luck! Sam proved to be not only a great woodworker, but also a fantastic communicator and great at finding stylish solutions to things we hadn't fully thought through - truly our partner in the project from start to finish. His near-constant presence on the job, his attention to detail, and his small but excellent team all made working with him a pleasure. As others here have noted, the work-site was kept tidy and clean, and our yard was immaculate when the job was done – not only did they re-sand the entire deck (handrails with 500-grit - SO smooth!!), but they pressure-washed all the adjacent paving! Sam was always affable, transparent and a pleasure to deal with, and his pricing was very fair. If we could, we'd give him 10 stars! And we LOVE the deck he built for us!

Sam and his crew built us a beautiful 1200 sq ft Kebony deck, installed three sets of doors, built two sets of stairs, remodeled a bedroom, rebuilt a rock retaining wall and made us an outdoor fireplace. All members of his group are craftsman, pay great attention to detail, and are professionals. We were incredibly pleased with his work and plan to contract with him again for a kitchen and bath remodel and a privacy wall. Sam did a MAJOR remodel at my residence (moving and updating systems, taking walls down to the studs, etc). I had worked with 3 other contractors, prior, on smaller jobs. Every time, I found something done incorrectly, or not well, etc. Sam treats your property as if it were is own and he makes sure the job is done right. He is very detail oriented, and really good at listening to the customer. He also makes sure that the job site is clean at the end of the day, which I really began to appreciate once construction was underway. During the job, I could give Sam a problem, and be confident he would solve it, and solve it well. In addition, he is active on the job sites, not just a contractor that checks in periodically. He did most of my framing and carpentry work, and was there every day supervising what was being done and working himself. I was very very pleased with the end result, and plan to use Sam for all my projects in the future.
